Rachael Carson's Legacy to Africa

A few weeks ago I had a little to say about DDT and some of the nonsense talked by the Greens and the environutter lobby. Thankfully, their disastrous propoganda appears to be wearing off. Long after the world ceased to experience any adverse effects from overuse of DDT, I might add.

While the world speculates about the prospect of an avian flu pandemic, in Africa someone-- normally a child -- dies every 30 seconds from malaria.

That's about one million each year, just in Africa. Now add to that those who are dying in other tropical countries, those who are starving because of their inability to get access to cheap and efective pesticides and you will begin to see why history may well record as the twentieth century's worst killer not Stalin or Hitler but Rachael Carson.
