He Makes A Good Point

Is Air New Zealand really closing down a profitable business?

More importantly, do I really want to fly with an airline whach has all it's major maintanemce done in a country which allows 20,000 coal miners a year to die in the name of profit? (Elsewhere I read mainland China is the most likely bidder)

ANZES is adding value to share holders. The order book is full until September 2006. Why is management jumping at shadows?

If there is a restructure required, let's get on with it, but don't shut down a viable business.

Maybe the major shareholder whould be right in there asking somevery tough questions of the Board. Let's face it, they've had plenty of practice at TVNZ.

Something doesnt quite smell right with his Air NZ thing.Methinks an independent audit may be needed to sort it out.It wouldnt be the first time management had told porkies to the directors.Cheapest aint necessarily best when it comes to keeping a silver budgie up in the air.

I thought the Engineering division at Chch was considered one of the best on the Pacific rim.
