Bush strikes back

President Bush lashed out today at critics of his Iraq policy, accusing them of trying to rewrite history about the decision to go to war and saying their criticism is undercutting American forces in battle.

"While it's perfectly legitimate to criticize my decisions or the conduct of the war, it is deeply irresponsible to rewrite the history of how that war began," the president said in a Veterans Day speech in Pennsylvania.
Damn right. Tearing the intelligence services a new one for greatly over-estimating the WMD threat: fine. Using the smears launched by those intelligence services trying to cover their arses and lies manufactured by the anti-war left/right as political weapons: populist politics of the worst kind.

This is really the second war that is occuring right and it's just as dangerous. The redefinition of history lead to communist domination last century - if they win this one, we could be looking at islamofascist domination for the next 50 years.

Well, that's possibly true. They don't have any post war intelligence either.

Seriously, George Bush hit it out of the park with that speech.

John Kerry, Teddy Kennedy etc are left spluttering with indignation.

Hope we get more of this - not that it will convince our beloved leader
