What has the CTU got to lose?

If Labour loses this election, then the CTU alone stands to lose $3 million in taxpayer support over the next three years.
Insolent Prick is being extremely insolent by laying out the financial incentives that the unions have to keep Labour in power at any cost. Go read it.

Ahh yes, the CTU, New Zealand's answer to the question no one asked.

$3m! That is a lot of taxpayer maoney. How much of it gets "donated" back to the political arm of the union movement one wonders?

That's only a drop in the bucket, Paul. The union movement stands to lose over $8 million in taxpayer subsidy if Labour lose this election.

Seems to be a pretty good incentive for them to direct outrageous sums of money towards attacking National and praising Labour this campaign.
