School Tuckshops

The Greens have come out strongly on the need for the Government to step in and ban junk food in school tuck shops. Naturally, we'll get a whole sub-department of nutrition experts, lawyers, policy writers etc all at great tax payer expense.

But is it really a problem? At my sons school, the tuck shop only supplies healthy food and juices.

Well, yes, he doesn't go to a state school. What does that mean? I pay extra every year to send him to a school that has already covered these issues.

The Greens would have you believe State control of schools is necessary, but what we have at the moment is disgraceful. They go on to say if you vote for them, they will help guide better outcomes (and of course, this is going to require extra expenditure).

Given that a non-public school appears to have solved the problem already, I think the Greens are answering the wrong questions.

Great idea. Whatever you do, don't teach your children the value of good nutrition and eating treats in moderation. If you do that we won't be able to set-up a commission to ban what can and can't be sold in supermarkets when they get older.

My son went to a birthday party, and was offered Coke Cola. He accepted. After the first one, he went with water on the refills. "One was enough" thank-you.

This is not the by-product of state schooling.

Well, when Sue Kedgely starts paying personally for school lunches she can have a say. What a waste of space that intellect is.

Next she will be enforcing whatever religion she sees fit on children, actually lets not stop there, how about sexuality, political pursuasion.

Any parent that doesn't tell that bitch to fuck off at the ballot deserves to be sent Green Party mandated recipie books for the rest of their poor lives.

Husbands of said wives, assemble to lay the red cobble stones for a great square. God I love com/soc/ialism.
