Reds under the bed

Following on from the previous post about the PM and her exclusive hearing...I've noticed a disturbing trend. The PM is going crazy. It's a case of "they are out to get me."

Her whole period of supreme rule reflects one of increasing paranoia, mixed with delusions of grandeur. For many years, the reds were under the beds. Now we are finding out what it is like when they "come out". Her life reads like a John Le Carre novel.

"By definition I cannot leak" she says, whilst dealing to the Commissioner of Police. The next day, gone.

Our inside man, John Tamihere, coming out from deep cover spilled the beans. It was all laid out for us. The secret plots. The rewording of legislation by Cullen. And other things too terrible to repeat on this fine blog.

And why the 180 kph trip across the Canterbury plains? Sounds like a high speed car chase. We can only assume she was being pursued by the KGB or CIA, and has to cover the reasons for her dangerous dash. Start looking for the bodies people.

The CIA? Well, the first thing she does is accuse Brash of secret policy machinations with secret forces in Washington. No-one noticed that outburst, so she sends Mallard out to repeat the allegations whilst she ducks for cover.

Meanwhile, to get the KGB off her back she promised Russia another few billion dollars to be siphoned through an off shore bank account in Kyoto.

And now the debates. You can see the paranoia in her tactics. Shout over the top of people. Accuse them of wanting to Nuke the country. Accuse them of of being in the lap of the Americans. Accuse them of using Australian PR people. Accuse them of working with big business. Accuse them of bribes. Accuse them of working with all sorts of people. Then accuse them of having no coalition partners. Then accuse them of wanting one law for all.

And now the latest. Some-one in the audience of a debate calls out that Helen has no kids. Lies. The she is a lesbian (not that there is anything wrong with that). Lies (we presume).

But what is the main cause for concern? Helen's growing paranoia. "Brash organised this" she declares. "It's all Brash's doing." "He got the orders from the CIA to plant these people in the audience. They are Australians, funded by Roger Kerr, deliberately bought in to accuse me of being childless. It's a plot. You must vote for me."

Helen, just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean we are going to vote for you.

I guess when you treat other people like crap and plot behind their backs you expect everyone else to act the same way.
