Outright Lies #12

The Greens are claiming the EB brochures are filled with outright lies. I'm having a look at the claims, one by one, to see how the EB may have formed their opinion.

Outright Lie #12: Decriminalise illegal drugs like cannabis (marijuana)

Well, the Greens want to decriminalise Cannabis. They can't weasel out of this one (can't they?) Maybe its all in the word "like". To an EB the differences between hashish, hash oil, skunk and marijuana would see them collectively discuss this as Cannabis - but hash oil, for example, is considered far more potent than the dried leaves. They are all collectively discussed as Cannabis, and the Greens do want to decriminalise this, at least in terms of possession of quantities for personal consumption. I'll leave it to the pot heads to work out the details, but the Greens are stoned if they call this an outright lie.

Verdict: Guilty of possession
