Old Habits at RLW News

The 0540 pre match summary for Morning Report included the following:
  • New Orleans Disaster is George Bush's fault.
  • The polls are all wrong - it's the undecideds that matter
  • The Gnats somehow must be tied in with the Exclusive Brethren
  • We are going to deal in detail with Health Policy this morning. We'll hear from both sides because we are even handed.
Funny thing there was not a mention of the Kyoto Minister assaulting a woman demonstrater in Dunedin. Perhaps the skilled jounalists of the realm have decided that she is an ACT supporter and therefore there is no issue and nothing newsworthy. I look forward to hearing Helen Clark explain this away.

Even more, I look forward to seeing on the internet the private photo's of the event, showing the distance from the PM. Sad Sack has claimed he was bravely stopping the supporter from hitting the PM with her placard. Goodness me, with such brave ministers closeby we can do away with the expensive DPS staff. Eye witnesses blog that the event took place some twenty meters from the PM.

Update 0640: Clark herself just accused the Gnats of being behind the EB leaflets. She just can't resist but of course she is 'running a clean campaign.'

Oh Yeah!!! Morning Report has found someone who says Gnats' health policy has dropped the ball. Never mind that the vast majority of health professionals have welcomed the policy.

What a bunch of clowns are these Radio New Zealand people.

Have you read the Green's memo linking the Nats via EB to Bush? Desperate times.

Oh, dear... Just heard Genetic Fitzsimpleton deny that the Greens have ever said National is behind Leaflet-gate. Is that the smell of burning pants...

Well if you read this they don't say it, but try very hard to imply it. Just look at the title! "Exclusive Brethren secret backers of Nat's campaign"
