New Labour site: 'Gone by lunchtime'

Labour has a new flash site attacking Don Brash up: 'Gone by lunchtime'.

The issues it covers are: Labour's anti-Americanism, our antiquated anti-nuclear ship policy, not supporting freedom and democracy in Iraq, anti-sustainable logging, cutting state grants for artists, etc.

Rather than resort to innuendo and selective quotation like Labour, all National has to do in reply is put the photo of Goff holding Arafat's hand up on TV while a voice reads out Arafat's long career of terrorism. The we'll see who's gone by lunchtime.

Also - is it normal to caricature Don Brash like he's a Chinaman out of the Otago goldrush years?
Can Labour do anything right?

Apparently the voice impression of Don Brash was done by Helen's Little Helper Darren Hughes. It may be the worst attempt at a voice impression I've ever heard.

I think its pretty lame. They should have left such things to slur sites like keepnzleft or whatever its called. No one is interested in people who make nasty attacks on others when their own house is such a shambles.

just shows the desperation by a bunch of losers who have taken to attack as only form of defence - someone asked me what were labour's policies - I advised that I didn't know as they have been too preoccupied / obsesed with Brash. (well I would help even if I knew I could)

Shouldn't NZ Post have a "Sold" sign in front of them with Helen's face plastered all over it?

Helen Clark is sounding more and more like Bill Clinton. Indeed, ma'am, you'll be running a campaign of principle and honesty just as much as Bill didn't feed the little red rooster to Monica.

It's laughable politics, but so many people are lapping it up and actually endorsing it.

I don't think negativity is attractive to centrist voters with any memory of Labour's performance in Government. If they'd stuck to policy discussions then they might be doing better.

Spin, spin, spin out of control. We are witnessing the dying throws of the Labour administration.

I just went and had a look. What a pathetic attempt at humour. It might not be so bad if it actually was funny but it just doesn't 'work.' Contrast this with the snappy, clever, classy, catchy Thank You Very Much For Your High Taxation song.

Their cmapign has the smell of death about it.
