I've got Jordan's answer! I've got Jordan's answer!

The radio news at 9pm had the following as its top story:

Labour is shrugging off the latest poll which showed National with a 8 point lead as a rogue result. Labour's campaign manager Pete Hodgson says it is so out of step with other polls taken recently it is clearly wrong.
No joking.

Bahahahaha. Bahahahaha. Mwahahahaha.

Well Clark didn't think it was a rogue poll. On RLW News at 2100 she put on her best basso profunda monotone and pronounced she wasn't worried about the poll because "I know,(bullshit pause for effect)... that we can form a coalition gummint and National have just shot themselves in the foot and the head.'

Well all I can say is, let there be more head wounds.

I didn't think any interesting news came out on RLW on Sunday nights. I'll have to go turn the radio on to see if there's a repeat performance.

The dinosaurs anounced today they are not concerned by the lower temerature readings and a spokesdino said it "was out of step with other temperature readings and is therefore a rogue reading and completely wrong".

He then trudged off through the snow in search of tropical plants to eat.

gooner..i'm surprised you are exultant at national showing in the polls..both you and i know that for your party (act) to have any hope of survival the national vote has to collapse....

Phil, no, it doesn't

For ACT to win, the centre-right vote needs to be a bit above 50%.

At that point, with Government in sight, right-leaning voters switch to ACT to provide a coalition partner.

Phil, I am very comfortable with Nats sitting at 46%. They can't/won't govern alone and very soon I reckon people will see a Nat/Act government a certainty and Act will storm home as a result. In other words, I agree with Anon :)

heh heh..one of us will be right..eh..?

y'see i see act getting in only on the back of the collapse of nationals' vote..

and if as adolf says that peters will go with national (to my surprise) is correct..it makes much more sense for national to eat you lot...and to throw a lifeline to peters..eh..?
(campaign over-spending by clarkson could be a blessing in disguise..eh?..gives him an 'out'..)
