How to kill feminism stone dead in one easy lesson

This is what happens when the inmates take over the asylum. A new political party is attempting to form in Sweden, the so called Feminist Initiative. They aren't quite a party yet but they are out there drumming up the support. Or in the real world, a bunch of loopy lecturers and pollies are bent on ignoring what makes the vast bulk of people happy.
As Sweden's Feminist Initiative meets in Örebro on Friday for its annual general meeting, one of the group's more radical proposals has been revealed: the abolition of marriage.

Instead the group, which is expected to become a fully-fledged political party following the meeting, wants a 'cohabitation law' which ignores gender - and allows for more than two people to be included.

The proposal is one of the group's 'prioritised political demands' which the newspaper Svenska Dagbladet got hold of before the meeting.

FI founder and board member, Tiina Rosenberg, told the paper that the group wants to create "a modern concept which does not favour and promote couples and heterosexual norms".

"The history of marriage is not about love and living together, it's about ownership," she added.

The party is already operating in NZ. It's actually occupying the treasury benches. Three more years and sandwhiches will be legalised and encouraged. No wonder the fundy churches are growing like mad.

As the inimitable Mark Steyn said, once you ditch the quaint notion of a marriage having to include two genders, is the number or species of participants much of an issue any more?

And all this, just when population replacement rates in these enlightened regions, are going south of the 1.5 mark (equilibrium is around 2.1)......
