Colin Espiner blogs on Clark's Mugabe moment

The next thing we know Clark's on board and after a quick briefing on the pilot's remarks she heads to the cockpit to sort things out herself.

We speculate as to whether she's decided to fly the plane herself (she probably could, we decide, although Brash boasted to me the other day that he'd landed an Airbus in a simulator) but it turns out she's simply giving the gabby pilot an earful.

Clark thinks being accused of not support ing the national airline is a bit rich considering she's a gold elite fre quent flier, and anyway, who owns the darned airline anyway? Shades of Robert Mugabe's commandeering planes to the destination of his choice briefly flash through my mind but no, we're off to Christchurch.

He hasn't yet learnt the fundamental rule of blogging. Something fesh every day, even if it is a one liner. Fail to do that and readers don't come back.

So what's the point? Why doesn't he just write the real story in the paper?

When was the last time he trimmed his "Mrs Peter Davis' other half's" look-a-like beard?

Does he pull looking like that? ... too many confused questions, so little time.
