Vanity Fair Questionaire for Lucyna

Jumping on Aaron's bandwagon :

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Inviting friends over to my yet unbuilt deck on a perfect summer's day for drinks and bbq.

Which living person do you most admire?

Hmmmm ... can't think of anyone.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

Indecisiveness. Not that I'm indecisive much, I just can't stand it when I am.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Takeaways, often, because cooking is a pain when I don't have much time. And washing up. Try to avoid both as much as possible.

On what occasion do you lie?

I don't. On the occasions where I've had to (normally to do with someone asking me when something will be completed by), I've worked out a way of saying something without actually lying.

What do you most dislike about your appearance?

My skin, I'm prone to rashes.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

I have no idea - probably that one!

What is your greatest regret?

I don't allow myself to have regrets, I'd rather work out a way to move forward positively.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

My husband and children.

Which talent would you most like to have?

Sword fighting. It would be nice just to have it rather than having to work for it. And I find swords quite terrifying, so it would be nice to just be over all that and know how to use one.

At some point soon, I will learn how to use a gun.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would make myself more able to stop doing one thing and switch to another.

What do your consider your greatest achievement?

Giving birth to my children, it's the hardest, most painful thing I've ever done. Everything else has been easy compared to that.

If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what would it be?

A cat. I'd get to lie around in the sunshine as much as I liked and have someone feed me.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

What is the quality you most admire in a woman?

What do you most admire in your friends?

Success and perservance.

Who are your favourite writers?

Dave Duncan, Janny Wurts.

Who is your favourite hero of fiction?

Arithon from Janny Wurts' Wars of Light and Shadow series.

Who are your heroes in real life?

Sigh, I don't have heroes.

What are your favourite names?

My kids names, but I'm not saying what they are.

What is your motto?

"I will"

"the price of freedom is eternal vigilance".
