New blogs

From now on instead of simply linking new blogs, I'll link to interesting posts on each.

Robby's:- results of the race-based funding report:
This government doesn't know if its coming or going.(It's definitely going). The results of the race based funding review shows that racial targeting is both endemic and ineffective in the New Zealand public service. But in typical labour lets-look-like-we're-doing-something-when-we're-not style, the government has elected to scrap some of these policies, change some and keep others.
Too Right:- a new potential power source:
An English geologist has come up with one of the most ingenious ideas yet suggested. Dr Fergus Gibb, a specialist in igneous rocks at Sheffield University who has done mould-breaking research into the beautiful columnar dolerites of the Hebrides, has suggested that the really high-grade nuclear waste should be returned to the earth and allowed, in effect, to melt itself back into the rocks from which the nuclear ores were originally mined.
Jono:- World vs Keith Locke:
Mr Locke rose to protest saying that Cullen was inplying he was in some way a Maoist and he rejected that. Cullen replied with, I got it wrong he was not a Maoist, but a Trotskyite.
Siege Mentality:- New biography of Chairmain Mao:
I am perpetually fascinated by people who manage to gain total control over a country, people such as Hilter, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, the Kim’s in North Korea, etc. I am fascinated by A) Why they thirst for such power, and B) How they manage to dupe a nation into giving them such power – or letting them take that power by force.
Any other new blogs we've missed? Leave them in the comments.
