National's billboards will be popular

Well well well.

National's billboards went down extremely well with some people I work with. They had a good old laugh at Labour's expense. I was surprised as politics is generally a no-no topic. But the criticisms came thick and fast after the topic of Governmental incompetence was broached by the billboard images on DPF's blog.

The ground was prepared by Rodney Hide and other opposition MP's revealing problem after problem with Labour's management and policies. But up until recently the media was still playing ball with Labour's spin doctors.

These billboards will send a clear signal to middle New Zealand that ridiculing this Government is okay, and that National knows what problems must be addressed.

The beautiful spin job Labour has been pulling for five years might now be their biggest enemy. Who to turn to if you think the media is being manipulated and Government services ruined by a party of academics, unionists and teachers? A boring banker who never had to backstab his way up the political ranks.

I love the Billboards. It is about time someone pointed out the difference - even if it is the National Party. Labours manipulation of our mainstream media, and their acquesince is disgraceful. Just had a small rant about that on my blog.

I've seen two so far - one on Hopetoun Rd, and one on Kyber Pass (both central Auckland).
