Helen Clark thrown out of Parliament

Are the Labourites losing their marbles?

Clark interjected during a question in Parliament today, so Speaker Wilson (following her own rule) threw her out.

So lets get this straight. Labour buries or spins information about all the other scandals to avoid giving the issues some oxygen, but when Clark breaks a rule about interjecting during Question Time she is thrown out of Parliament. Right in front of the television cameras and all the political reporters.

Does Wilson not understand how damaging this will appear on the news tonight and in the papers tomorrow?

Acting without integrity has been Labour's modus operandi since Clark lied about Peter Doone to the Sunday Star-Times. Why didn't Wilson simply ignore her own rule?

This is worse than Cullen's Budget!

Rodney Hide: Out She Goes

UPDATE: Ok Brash has been thrown out as well. What the..?

Berend makes the call:
Perhaps we have been too hard on Wilson. She got sick of being her decisions handed over by Clark/Cullen.

And then she realised what she had done. So Don had to go as well. You have be fair after all as speaker. If you throw out the PM, you have to throw out the leader of the opposition as well.

I think they've completely lost their marbles and have been asking everyone to give them back now. Since that hasn't worked, they're going to look pathetic, like if someone doesn't give them back, bad things beyond their control could happen. To anyone. Randomly. And it's not their fault.

It was sooo staged!

You could see the panic on her face when she realised that she had just thrown out the PM. Mallard was looking at Brash all during QT to get him thrown.

It is just this Govt in microcosm--rotten, incestuous and phony.

I think Margaret realises that there is an election comming too and is doing her own special kind of "u-turns".
