Bloggers make the Herald

Quite a few well-known bloggers made the Herald's item on Tamihere's Great Escape. I'm not so sure about the Herald's descriptions though. Well done Peter Metcalph (described as "sceptical blogger'), NZ Pundit ("controversialist website"?!), David Farrar ("online commentator"), and Silent Running ("NZ blogger").

How about the next time they run a Tapu Misa column they preface it with "Biased leftie" or something similar. And imagine the prefixes could they use for the next Labour Minister guest column - I think Tamihere had a few ideas for appropriate labels...

UPDATE @ 3:22PM: Here is Tapu Misa's opinion on media bias (it doesn't exist, don't you know; even if it did exist, its all for the greater good!):
It's not that we in the media should be quick to dismiss criticism. But when Peters complains that journalists are no longer reporting just what politicians say, as they did in the good old days, but now [journalists] have the temerity to decide for themselves what is valid in a politician's message and make their own judgment on its content (which is their job), he looks just a tad self-interested.

whta exactly is their "profession" a reporter/ Journalist or editor? Typical of lefty BS artists to try to fudge the lines, and make thier own flawed ideology, the basis for reportage.

Tapu Misa holds the dubious honour of being the first NZ Journalist that annoyed me so much about writing with obvious media bias thinly disguised as "opinion" that I wrote a letter of complaint.

There was one on Australia that was just as bad on a regular basis.

And wasn't she a TV3 'reporter' once? She'd fit right in on Campbells junk show.
