Okay. Redirecting a hostname is just a case of changing the DNS entry or servers in the domain register settings. Email me if you want more info on DNS or networking in general (if its even of use to you.) Networking has been my primary since men were men and .... ;-) Yeah. You know, instead of naffing around, you should've just gone with HostingMetro and saved yourself so much hassle. ;-) Mind you, I'm biased given they pay me for every hosting I arrange, but I've been using them 3 years and not had a single problem the entire time. I also set my clients up with them. Not because I get a cashback, but because I really do think they offer an extremely useful, stable, feature-packed service at an exceptionally affordable price. For example, for de-generationx.net it cost US$6.36/mnth. If you pay for 12 months up front, you get 3 more free. The link is still on the bottom of the de-generationx.net pages if you wanna check them out ;-) And I definitely wouldn't mind the referral credit ;-) Mind you, if you've already arranged a new host,..
Thanks for the offer Steve, but I'm pretty happy with RealWebHost. After the OpenHost debacle, I'd prefer to pay a little more to ensure we never have similar problems ever again.I figured out the domain name entries situation, but someone else has the admin account for that and he hasn't replied to the email yet.
Oops. Thart would be me. I have just checked and replied to your email...
