Fools and Their Helpmates

Neither the O'Herald, the Independent, Radio Left wing or TV3 seem to have taken the trouble to read the indictment against vice presedential aid 'Scooter' Libby. Were they to do so they would realise that the alleged misdemeanors to which they refer have already been found specious and thrown out. He has been indicted for lying to a grand jury. Thats all, serious though it is.

From what I read I will not be surprised if this charge as well is thrown out in pretty short order.

The Dopey Donks and their raucus Antipodean acolytes just never seem to learn. What is even more surprising is that in their white hot hatred for and pursuit of Bush, they seem to have forgotten he won't be running for president next time round.

Adolf, why are you up so early on a Saturday? And are you really surprised that the wrong end of the stick is being swung around?? Clinton was done for perjury and he definitely did the deed, so if Libby is guilty of perjury then all the other crap must be true too. I think he incited a riot in Paris as well, no?

But you got it at the end there... they have a couple of years left to get Bush. Imagine the horror of 8 years hard work trying to unseat him if it all comes to nothing and he disappears into ex-president land.

For those of us still living in the reality based community John Dean's analysis of the indictment at FindLaws is worth reading.

I thought the "reality based community" disappeared when the acid wore off.

Ackers, are you really Adolf's alter ego? You appear within minutes of him posting without fail.

They Herald reported the charges in full the previous day.

The later news-brief you refer to appears to be a cut-down version of this Independent story, which clearly states what the charges are.

Nothing to see here folks, move along.

It seems the pundits are waiting. Only one TradeSports contract sold for Libby, at 40.

I probably will go short as well. The only problem with these contracts is that it might take an indeterminate time to get a verdict.

The Left can forget about pursuing Scooter Libby. Their ship just took a nuclear torpedo below the waterline - in Paris. Along with direct hits from long range artillery in Rouen, Dijon and Marseilles.
