Bush Lied. Along With Kerry, Clinton, Gore, Rodham, Daschle........

Whale Oil posted this piece yesterday. It should be posted on every right wing blog and sent to every newspaper, radio station and televison channell.

The threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but as I said, it is not new. It has been with us since the end of that war, and particularly in the last four years ... he has continued to build those weapons."
Sen. John Kerry, Congressional Record, Oct. 9, 2002 But the central issue of the presidential election only two years later was Iraq: why we are there, how we got there and whether Bush misled the nation.

The lieing lefties are being called out. And not before time.

History will record that new Zealand's contribution to the war against terror was characterised by intense cowardice. If Helen Clark had been PM in 1939 we would have stood off to one side, on the grounds that we lived in a benign stategic environment and it was in our interests to refrain from doing anything which might antagonise Japan or Germany..

Every civilization eventually falls. This happens when the people no longer are willing to fight to defend it.

Clearly Helen is in that camp, as is Jacques Chirac.

Neither have the wit to understand that the sixty years of peace our respective nations have enjoyed has happened because we have sheltered under the umbrella of the United States of America.

Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum.

Adolf;

Here is the definitive article on the topic of the Democrats rewriting history.

Who Is Lying About Iraq?

Norman Podheretz published this about ten days ago and the Wall Street Journal published it yesterday

People of all stripes lie Roger, but at the moment the biggest examples are the Dem leadership trying to rewrite history leading up to the invasion of Iraq.

I thought Clinton was something of a "moderate", or is anyone not conservative a "leftie" in the SirHumphs dictionary? His welfare reform was not very "leftie".

The point is, adolf, that you seem to think that only those people you call "lefties" are capable of lying, as if all "righties" are saints. Everytime you rant about "lefties" doing such and such, it begs the question if that very same act has been commited by those people you support. In this case it was lying.

No Roger, it was not Lying, it was the media, with the tacit support of the Democrats, calling it lying.

The only proven liars here are the Democrats and in particular Kerry, he lied about his war record. Bush never lied about his army record only the media did that, unrepentant that they are.

It seems the wrong but factual doctrine is alive and well in leftie land.

Yesterdays New York Time's editorial "Decoding Mr. Bush's Denials" gets it right.

http://www.nytimes.com/2005/11/15/opinion/15tue1.html?hp

"Mr. Bush said last Friday that he welcomed debate, even in a time of war, but that "it is deeply irresponsible to rewrite the history of how that war began." We agree, but it is Mr. Bush and his team who are rewriting history."

Ackers1, why don't you get a comment from Mary Mapes as well? I and others have just posted numerous examples of Donk liars rewriting history but for you the opinion of some idiot at the NYT is gospel? No evidence but 'it's obvious.'

Amazing that the NYT can publish such an editorial with a straight face. They were writing editorials about the dangers Iraqs WMD posed when George Bush was still back in Texas dealing with the problems of Rice Growers in East Texas and the like.
