This story doesn't appear to have made it into the NZ papers or into any of the esteemed journals headlined. Well I suppose if you are trying your best to denegrate the war effort then you can't be seen printing a verdict of not guilty where allied troops are accused of war crimes.

Lesson for the left? Arabs lie. It's part of the culture. Offer an Arab money and he'll say whatever you want to hear. You see, it's OK to lie, just as it is OK to kill. Just so long as you do it to an infidel.

The Herald finally caught up. Only a day late and with an Indepenent version. It is interesting to compare the reports from two British newspapers and readers should do so. The Londom Times is pretty much factual and to the point. The Independent is spiced with (sexed up is the word used in the UK) all sorts of innuendo and seplective quotes, designed to lead a reasonalble person to conclude 'The guilty bastards were lucky to get off.'Updat 1530 GFD:
The Herald must read this blog! They've changed the headline to read "Soldiers Let Off Murder Allegations" Do you see what I mean? Apart from being atrocious grammar it's Leftiespeak for "The Guilty Bastards Did It."
