1400 vehicles burnt in latest night of riots

French Police claim two of their men were 'ambushed':
The two police officers were injured by gunfire in what police described as an "ambush" in Grigny late on Sunday.

They were taken to hospital with wounds to the leg and throat.

Police chiefs said their men were being deliberately confronted by gangs apparently intent on fighting them.
This was taken from the frontpage BBC item.

This same item goes out of its way to avoid mentioning Muslim men as being the rioters in question, yet it does say:
Muslim leaders of African and Arab communities have also issued a fatwa, or religious order, against the riots.

"It is strictly forbidden for any Muslim... to take part in any action that strikes blindly at private or public property or that could threaten the lives of others," the fatwa by the Union of Islamic Organisations in France said.
This is like broadcasting a press release from the Southern Baptist Business Association requesting young Christians follow the Ten Commandments instead of saying the KKK is out terrorising the black suburbs.

Why is the BBC acting like it's trying to hide the existence of the modern KKK?

What if the rioters see themselves as not "striking blindly"?

I see Scoop finally has an article about it. By some ex-Alliance hack who also goes out of his way to blame everyone except those burning old ladies and constructing bomb factories in Paris suburbs.

Mondaynight will see operation Midnight Sun in France (that's now, NZ time). Perhaps it's time to become afraid, very afraid.

Guys, here sort of a life commentary:

Villepin now talks about organised criminal networks... Huh? I thought these were poor youths just asking for after school programs??

Hmmm. Crims don't go around burning cars - unless they're running an insurance scam.

Does Villepin have his head stuck in the ground?
