Jounalistic Ethics - MSM Style

This story is an excellent follow up to the Harrington interview on Nine to Noon. Perhaps Mr Harrington will rush back on to the air waves and tell us some more about the high ethical standards of jounalists and the misdeeds of bloggers.

When it came to the specifics of the four alleged US demands, however, AFP inexplicably rewrote the American directive so that it no longer insisted Syria end support for Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Although this final demand was expunged, AFP retained four distinct demands by splitting the first into two discrete parts.

Those fateful words will reverberate through jounalistic history and will be etched on the BBC's tombstone: "We don't own the news anymore."
