Gay Bomb in Warsaw

A militant Gay group planted 13 bombs in Warsaw protesting the coming Presidential elections. The bombs were all found to be fakes, but very sophisticated fakes.

Ok, so why doesn't this get reported by the MSM over here?

UPDATE : Yes, I do know why. As noted by a commenter, time zone difference and all. I really couldn't think of anything else to say - the last bomb scare was by an Islamist. Here's more from the article instead.
A previously unknown organization called the Gay Power Brigade claimed responsibility.

In a lengthy manifesto sent to Warsaw newspapers and wire services the group condemned Warsaw Mayor Lech Kaczynski, who is running for president.

Kaczynski is running for the right wing Law and Justice party. He will face off Sunday against Donald Tusk of the moderate Civic Platform.

This summer Kaczynski banned Pride organizers from holding a gay pride parade. More than 2,500 people ignored the order and marched through the Polish capital anyway. (story)

"You paralyze our life, we'll paralyze yours," the Gay Power Brigade statement said.

"Electing Kaczynski would mean the destruction of Poland, a divided Poland, shaken by Kaczynski-wars which aim to win total power,"

Kaczynski said that even though Warsaw gays are well organized he doubted the Gay Power Brigade existed and suggested it was an election trick by his opponent.

So they went off with a 'poof' rather than a 'bang'?

Like some sections of the MSM you've really got to learn to work the word "alleged" into your prose. How does anyone know this isn't just an election stunt by this Kaczynski chap or some pack of hard right tards - I'm sure the spectre of horrid militant homos should be good for a couple of poll points and the kind of column inches and face time you just can't buy.

Would this be the first time in the history of humanity that this specific act has taken place? ie a "militant gay group planting bombs". (if true).

I think the Village People were classed as a dangerous weapon. A few of their songs were bombs.

Craig, because it's not an individual, I don't think the alleged is necessary. But I take your point, it could be any crazy group - not necessarily a "gay group". But then again, this is Poland we are talking about and I really couldn't be sure either way.

I've never heard of it happening before, Roger.

The Gay Power Brigade? Oh well, when they grow up they can be the Gray Power Brigade and fight for pensions. It's winston;s secret weapon. Meanwhile, will we see them turn up in a show of solidarity for the brothers in Fallujah?

If they were an "approved" group (e.g., fundamentalist Christian or Jewish), the MSM would have been on this in an instant.

("Approved" meaning it's OK to bash them in the media)

The same thing is happening with the suicide bombing in Oklahoma, where because the bombing happened on US soil, it doesn't fit into the "approved" meme - "it can't happen here" - and this is not reported the same as it would have been in say, Israel. Suicide bombings in Israel can be blamed upon the Jews. Ditto for suicide bombings or other "militant" attacks in the Middle East, which are easily attributable to US foreign policy there.

Those are "approved" for reporting. Just ask al-Reuters.

Haven't you learned anything yet?

//maybe not...
