Looks as though it's not just the Herald that has problems. We have reported on recent shenanigans at TVNZ and it seems as though the Dominion has a slight problem as well.
It's all very well having a code of ethics. The problem is, the code is not much use when its adherents have no ethics to start with. It is not too many years ago that I was interviewed and filmed by a TV3 crew without my knowledge. The first I knew of it was when I saw the interview screened on 60 minutes that evening. Back then, I didn't know anything about a jounalists' code of ethics or the BSA.
The horse faced female reporter's lieing ugly mug still features on the NZ current affairs television scene.
