DomPost has scoop on Exclusive Brethren

It was confirmed yesterday that members of the Exclusive Brethren had tried to arrange talks with NZ First, whose seven MPs are critical to a National-led government.

What next? You'd almost think it was a free country and the DomPost had nothing better to pay their "reporters" for.

* Purely for effect, not approval of such language.

But isn't NZFirst cuddling Helen this week?

Don't the team at the Dom get newspapers where they are? Well of course not, we wouldn't want to unduely influence them now would we.

Not to mention we knew they'd met with almost all parties some time back anyway.

Jeez dom, play catch up why don't you.

Next week DomPost will report the failure of the Normandy Landings while giving a strong focus to the disturbing "Overlord" code name and speculate wildly on what this will mean for a post war Europe.

Now who posted some weeks back a funny piece about how the Normandy landings would be reported today?

Well since we did an entire series in real time at Silent Running back in June 2004 I calling first dibs.

You can find it cached with "beebvision" search.

The utter outrage! A group of constituents seek to talk with their elected representatives! How can this be condoned in a democracy?

Pure evil, evil, evil. Yes, this deserved front page treatment (if at all) by the DomPost. And I thought it was a half way reasonable paper.

The Dome uses the former "Brethren" to describe these deluded constituents, not as per Auntie Herald which uses "Brethrens". Perhaps this is why Winston could not see them????
