Chicken escort duty, but the bird is just out of shot by his feet.

I guess the signs only apply to cars... if you can read the sign at 100m that is.

The could use a big wide "Bugger Off" or its equivalent in Arabic, but that might also be considered a "Fire RPG Here" sign.

The guy walking past is an Iraqi policman I think (dark skin, blue shirt, body armour, Kalashnikov).

Technically he's a 'good guy', though given the infiltration of the police force by insurgents, it's a pretty shaky assumption.
