Behind The Scenes

Adolf's spy network reports a new political party is in the making. Ropehead erstwhile MP Nandor Tancos is moving to plug the gap in support which saw his rightful share of the party vote move to the legalise cannabis outfit. They got 5,000 votes and he only needed 1,300 to get back into the gravy jug. Poor old Nandor just slipped through the crack.

Secret discussions are being held and deals are being done. The new party leader will be Nandor and membership is open to all New Zealanders, illegal overstayers, Thai house painters and tilers and any other world persons, provided they can demonstrate experience in the consumption of marijuana and or other interesting substances. Booze and cigarettes don't count.

Newly appointed Party Strategist and Chief Hallucinogen phl u reports there is wide spread enthusiasm for the underlying party philosophy. He is recommending the inclusion of cocaine in the list of substances to be legalised. There will be no more falling through the crack.

The party name?. Yes, you've guessed it. The Crackpot Party.

adolf....as i support all drug use/abuse being treated as a health issue..not a justice issue..maybe the cracksmackpot party would be a more appropriate name..

(though i would like to note that i have savaged the aotearoa legalise cannabis party in my post on the exit of nandor..)

(and on a serious note..you should go and have a look at the seriously successful swiss model of abuse treatment..we don't need to reinvent the wheel..the models are out there..)

and, of course, let's not go near the celebration of excessive serial consumption of alcohol promoted by the likes of farrar..eh..?...(what a bad influence he is on young impressionable nerds..eh..?)

esp.given that any expert in the field will tell you that booze is the killer in our society....

an elephant in the room..eh adolf..?

skin-up mate..get with the play...

phil, unlike Kieth Locke I always try very hard to keep my skin up. Matter of fact I think I have blogged before that I would legalise personal use of cannabis and then go very hard at the dealers and P merchants.
