A Diplomat's Asylum

According to ABC News this morning, the Chinese diplomat Chen Yonglin has been denied asylum in Australia. I'm not sure of the reasons for this decision as I would have thought his actions might have guaranteed him a lifetime in a Mongaloid gulag should he return to the workers' flood ridden paradise.

It will be interesting to see what would happens if he crosses the ditch and pitches up here for a chat with Mr Zaoui's lawyers. It's fair to suggest he might not have much show. He doesn't appear to be of Arab extraction and Helen won't want to upset her new found Socialist friends who will assist in her next career move to the UN.

I hope he does turn up here, just so that the pinko PC brigade can go through contortions trying to figure how to spin rejection of a disident from a communist regime where human rights don't exist.

I thought the gentleman had been denied initial automatic asylum. Mr Zaoui was also denied automatic asylum by the NZIS. He [Zaoui] then went through the process of an appeal. As far as I understand this is what is happening with the Chinese gentleman in Australia. he is being processed an it may take some time. Mr yonglin may very well gain asylum in Australia

Would you support him coming here for asylum, Adolf?

Davros. Thanks for pointing that out. I went back and read the ABC piece twice. Must have been written by a Kiwi on OE.

Roger, yes I think I would. I'd like to see him assessed by some one more competent than the idiots who dealt with Zaqawi or Zaoui or whayever his name is.

"Mr Zaoui" was not a refugee, he was caught trying to enter the country on a false pasport.

He lawyered up with a lawyer who seems to have a queue of "refugees" trying to slide in and then he tried to claim he was a refugee.

He has NO right to be here.

This retroactive claim of him coming here to seek asylum is classic revisionism by a wool blind media.

Murray: I thought he destroyed his passport while in flight. I haven't been following the Zaoui case closely.

I keep wondering why Zaoui can't go back to Malaysia. What happened there? I don't believe in the conspiracy theory advocated by his supporters that he was thrown out of France, Belgium and Switzerland because of some US-lead intelligence frame-up. But in the unlikely event that this was true, it seems hard to believe that Malaysia, no friend of Bush and very friendly to Muslims, would be in on this as well. What happened to make him unwelcome in yet another country?
