Spam continues

The American websites(s) presently spamming Sir Humphreys (about 30 spam comments so far) has not removed us from their spambot as requested.

So I guess we'll be sending out those invoices at $NZ50 per spam comment after all.

Until they stop, we've had to disable anonymous comments.

p.s. to Christopher Smith: Feel free to put up, or shut up.

p.p.s. to Smith: perhaps there was a misunderstanding on the meaning of 'spam'.

I think Christopher was looking at the issue from another tangent A.L.

I'm guessing he didn't realise you were talking about *real* spam. I think I addressed his point in my earlier post - that the site owners determine Spam Policy.

From my point of view, he is welcome to discuss any ideas regarding to what level comments should be moderated.

Hopefully, by now he sees we are not accepting SPAM comments, in the leteral sense, and can accept that point.

I actually have an exchange of emails with these losers claiming they have a right to spam and it's not illegal.

However having given them fair warning of the terms and conditions I'll be sending them nice big fat bills.

So you're suggesting he doesn't like any links at all being posted on someone elses blog?

I think he was just looking for an opportunity (so he thought) to put the boot in.

I am not sure what I was looking for. Lemur said something that I thought was hypocritical and I got jumped on from 50ft. I am sure he posted off-topic stuff at various blogs around the place, including Bhatnagar's, and Farrar's. However this is not the end of the world and I will leave it at that. Thanks for the publicity.
I am not a spammer.

Ah, I guessed right Christopher. AL was talking about real spammers. We were not asserting you were a spammer.

We are mildly annoyed at people who have been posting "Buy this stuff from this website" messages. Really stupid.

I did however, jump on you for pointing out that AL has the habit of posting links on other sites. As you can tell, we think that perfectly reasonable if the story is related.

I didn't realise it was a 50 foot leap however. If you put it like that, I'm quite pleased my pounce attack appears so effective with just the merest flex of my powerful spring technique!

Off-topic? The web of deceit woven by the left is more convoluted than you might think. If you are of lefty persuasion, and are a nice guy, then you are probably just a pawn or a dupe, completely ignorant of the vast left wing conspiracy. It happens.

Red pill? Blue pill?

There's a reason the pill that reveals the truth is red ZT ;-)

Mr Smith (maybe there's something in this Matrix thing?) I believe what you were referring to is more accurately called blog-whoring, ie when you post links to articles on your own blog, particularly ones that are off topic (a la Jono Newton's pimping of NZ Political Idol), in comments to the blogs of others. Some people think it is bad netiquette, others do not.

Spam in any form is currently top of my hate list. And it's a hotly contested list too I might add.
