Media Bias II

It didn't take long, did it? The Herald this morning describes John Tamihere as "the disgraced MP." Most New Zealanders think he's a bloody hero!

An excellent example of Cassandra's LabourMSM bias #10, namely substitution of opinion for fact. Use of the pejorative "disgraced" turns a minor news item into a piece of Labour propoganda. I'd be interested to see a declaration of current and past political associations from the reporter.

I might have been a little unkind to Audrey Young. The rest of the article was excellent. However, it's amazing how that one word at the beginning made such a difference to the slant of the whole piece. Why couldn't she have just left it out? Or better still, commenced the piece "Heroic Labour MP John Tamihere...........
