Just who is this Anonymous person?

OK, call me what you will (or perhaps who you will) but I can never resist making honest fun at those people posting as Anonymous. You know what I mean don't you? Those lines like:

"Hey Anonymous (if that's who you really are)..."

or "Full credit to to Anonymous for those thoughts..."

I mean, just how much of a hero can this guy be to spawn so many namesakes? Until blogging, I'd hardly heard of him (or her). Sure, there were a few poems written by this person, the odd joke and at least three novels.

Are they like the Phantom: living decade after decade by training their offspring to take up the mantle; or is there a baton that is passed from person to person who assumes this secret identity.

Is this one person really hundreds in the masonic like "Order of the Anonymous Ones.", unknown to every-one, even each other?

Is the secret handshake the one fingered salute perhaps? I see those people from time to time, driving down the road with a haunted look in their eyes. That car is right behind me - is that guy in the Order of Anonyminity? Quick - secret signal - one fingered salute. Honk Honk. Nope. Ooh, third car down returned the salute. I've found one, now what do I do?

Until I uncover the mystery of this secret society / pervasive personality, maybe they can just adopt a handle? Is it too hard for these people to think up a name? Here's some, go ahead have them. They are all yours: Avocado Gravity, Onyx, Echelon, Susan, Sincerely, Lightbulb, JC.

Until then, its Zen Tiger (like you didn't know)

Well that nips my conspiracy theory in the bud.

Thanks span(ner in the works).

Still, perhaps it leads to a new post titled "Pushing all the wrong buttons"
