Another enraged Labourite (anti-Tamihere collective)

dc_red of 'Blogging it real' posts another articulate and impassioned response to the Tamihere interview: Message to Rodney.

Is dc_red aware that lesbianism and 'childlessness' are not illegal in this country, but what Winston Peters alleged is? Why does dc_red compare an illegal activity to a legal one? He must be one of those over-emotional Labour types that Tamihere warned us all about...

P.S. dc_reds post sounds funny if you imagine his voice squeeking, but downright disturbing if you imagine him squinting his face up with hatred like one of the pyschos in Romper Stomper.

UPDATE @ 1:52PM: PNN makes some observations on Jordan Carter's refusal to comment on the Tamihere problem. Make sure you read the comment from DPF.

UPDATE @ 4:30PM: Dog Biting Men / Mediacow makes seven clear ennumerated points.

As Mediacow points out, its a little unlikely Tamihere posed for 15 photos for Investigate Magazine by accident. But I don't think the Nats and Act consider themselves ideologically aligned with Tamihere, rather he's a useful source of damaging inside personality comments.

Why is it most blogs are avoiding the obvious conclusion that many centrist (Labour voting) family-type blokes blokes appreciate where Tamihere is coming from?

Nail hit right on head.

We are being PCed to death by this crew.

To admit that John Tamihere's remarks resonate with a lot of people would be to admit that Labour is way out of step with many in its core constituency.
